EDWARD N. SEVOLD

STORY CITY -- Funeral services for Edward N. Sevold, 82, were held Friday, March 26 from the Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City with the Rev. A. J. Bringle speaking and Rev. Quentin Quambeck officiating.

Burial was in the Mamrelund Cemetery near Randall. Pall bearers were Willie Wicks, Harry Nassen, Tom Berhow, Arthur Goodmanson, Goodman Olson and Ole Jacobson.

Mr. Sevold was born on a farm east of Randall in 1882 and died at the Iowa City hospital March 22 where he had been a patient nearly three weeks after he received injuries in a fall.

He retired from farming in the Randall and Story City area in 1947 and moved to Story City.

He is survived by his wife, Anna, two daughters, Lula of Story City and Mrs. Hervert Nelson of Minneapolis, Minn.; three sons, Robert of Story City, Earl of Minneapolis and the Rev. Raymond Sevold of Scandia, Alberta, Can.; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Julia Christensen of Rake.
