Gunder Wike Dies At Story City Today

STORY CITY, Feb. 4.--Gunder Wike, 85, died early this morning at the hospital here following a week's illness after a minor operation.

He is survived by his widow and the following children, Mrs. George Larson, Pingree, N. D., Mrs. Magnus Miller, Story City, Sigvold Wike, Ames, Marcus Wike, Jewell, and Anton Wike, Ames. He also has one brother John Wike, living at Eagle Grove.

Born in Norway, he emigrated to the United States in 1866.

No funeral arrangements have been made.
