MRS. CHRIS LEKNESS

Funeral services for Mrs. Chris Lekness, wife of a Story City merchant, who died in the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines were held at Immanuel Lutheran church at Story City at 2 o'clock. Rev. T. T. Heimarck was in charge and burial was in the Story City cemetery.

Mrs. Lekness came to Story City about 19 years ago, as Naomi Lewis, a teacher in the Story City junior high. Two years later she was married to Chris Lekness and taught for a third year in the schools.
