Julie Monson, Story City, died

Miss Julia Monson, 81, Story City, died about 6:50 p.m. Thursday* at the Story City Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks.

Born on a farm near Story City, she had lived there all her life until moving into Story City to live with a brother, Ole, about a year ago.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold T. Masted officiating. Burial will be in Story City Cemetery.

She is survived by three brothers, Ole, Martin and Albert, all of Story City.

The body will lie in state until Monday noon at the Larson Funeral Home.
