Elizabeth Sande died Saturday

Mrs. Elizabeth Sande, 87, formerly of Story City, died at about 4 p.m. Saturday at Mary Greeley Hospital.

She had been a resident of Oak Park Manor, Nevada, for the past one and one-half years.

Born near Roland, she was a lifetime resident of the Story City and Roland communities.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alice Miller, Story City; three sons, Sterling and Raymond, both of Roland, and Tillman, Alta Dena, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Susan Goodman, also of Story City; a brother Lewis Raymond, Portland, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ingebrit Sande, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, with the Rev. Harold Masted officiating. Burial was in Roland Cemetery.
