MYRTLE DURBY LAID TO REST

Classmates Pay Respects to Deceased Friend, Myrtle Durby, at Her Funeral Held Tuesday Afternoon

Miss Myrtle Pearl Durby was born April 17, 1906, to Mr. and Mrs. Peder Durby, and passed away at her home five miles south of town, on Friday evening, August 31, thereby being 17 years, 4 months and 14 days of age.

She leaves to mourn her death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peder Durby and six sisters and six brothers all of whom were present at the funeral. They are as follows: Mrs. Albert Olson, Blue Earth, Minn.; Palmer Durby of Woden, Mrs. James Sandsgaard of Story City, Mrs. Harvey Nassen, Archie, Enoch, Lawrence, Ruth, Bernice, Joseph, Palma and Benjamin of this place. She also leaves a large host of friends, for she was a girl who knew he was to love her.
