OBITUARY

JULIA MALINDA SANDE

Julia Manlinda Sande, daughter of Inger and Thorkel Sande was born July 26, 1877 in Etne, Norway. She came to Story County with her parents at the age of four and lived in this community all her life.

Miss Sande entered the Sunset Home 16 years ago. She passed away May 11 at the Story City Memorial Hospital at the age of 82 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and a sister, Anna. Surviving are three brothers, I. J. Sande, Alfred Sande of Story City and Elmer Sande of Canoga Park, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 14 at 1:30 at the Sunset Home Chapel, and 2:00 at the Bethel Lutheran Chruch at Story City. Burial was in the Roland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sterling Sande, Raymond Sande, Arthur Sande, Clarence Miller, Arthur Goodmonson and Irvin Lund.
