Mrs. K. F. Johnson Rites Wednesday

STORY CITY--Funeral services for Mrs. G. F. Johnson, 88, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Grace E.U.B. Church, with Elder T. A. Nickum officiating.

Mrs. Johnson, who died Friday morning at the Gilmore Nursing home in Nevada, will be buried in the Story City Municipal Cemetery. She had been a patient at the nursing home for three weeks.

She was born in Story County and lived in this area all her life.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, Arthur, Corpus Christi, Tex.; and Marion, who is a pilot stationed with the Air Force in Japan. Another son, John, was killed late Friday night in an auto accident on U. S. 69 on mile north of the Story City corner.

She is also survived by four grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a brother, Edward Anunson, Glendale, Calif.

OBITUARY

Mrs. Margaret Johnson

Mrs. Margaret Johnson was born Sept. 7, 1869. A life-long resident of Story County, she died at a Nevad nursing home Sept. 27.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Marion of Tokyo, Japan, four grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a brother, Edward Anunson of Glendale, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, K. F. Johnson; two brothers and sister. A son, John, was killed in an automobile accident on the day of her death.

Funeral services were held Oct. 2 at Grace Evangelical United Brethren church in Story City, Elder T. A. Nickum, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Ames and the Rev W. D. Winter, pastor of the Grace E.U.B. Church officiated. Burial was in Story City cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joe Honderd, Kenneth Erickson, Sterling Anderson, Les Jensen, Jack Coy and Duane Doolittle.
