Hubert C. Doolittle
January 18, 1924 - January 13, 2013

Hubert C. Doolittle was born Janaury 18, 1924 near Story City to Lester D. and Agnes J. (Olson) Doolittle. He married Joan Wicks on September 25, 1954 at Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland. He was a lifetime resident of the Story City and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming and raising livestock, especially sheep. Hubert loved his family, going to the State Fair, listening to country music and attending the Colfax livestock sales almost every Saturday for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife Joan of Story City; two sons, David and his wife Marlene of Story City and John and his wife Amanda of Overland Park, KS; a daughter, Lori Anderson and her husband John of Story City; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
