Margret Elding
August 12, 1921 - January 21, 2013

Margret Louise (Wilson) Elding, 91, of Maxwell, IA., (formerly of Corpus Christi, TX) died Monday January 21, 2013, at Story Medical Center in Nevada, IA.

Margret was born on August 12, 1921, to Wm. Guy Wilson and Almina Esther (Nelson) Wilson. Margret was united in marriage to Albert Laverne Elding on May 31, 1943. She worked at Woolworth's and Bourne's in Ames and helped with farm tasks. Her hobbies included: crocheting, picking up seashells on the beach, watching Chicago Cubs and football and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Margret is survived by her son, David (Nancy) of Maxwell; daughter, Deborah Elding of Corpus Christi, TX; a sister, Norma Britton of Madrid, IA.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Margret was preceded in death by her husband Laverne, her son Donald, her daughter Dorothy, her brother Wrex, her sister Lois and her parents.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the Maxwell Christian Church in Maxwell with Pastor Tom Lee officiating. Margret will be laid to rest in the Maxwell Cemetery.
