Plan rites for former Iowan
Mrs. Agnes T. Poole, 91, Westbury, Long Island, Nassau County, New York died there about 4PM Saturday, May 29, after a long illness. Mrs. Poole was the former Agnes Tilden. She was a resident of Ames, Story County, Iowa until 1950 and attended the Ames public schools. She operated a beauty shop here in the 1920s. Mrs. Poole was a member of the United Church of Christ, Congregational and of the Daughters of Union Veterans.

A son, Fred T. Tilden, Washington, District of Columbia, and two grandchildren survive her. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Tilden, four brothers and a sister, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM Wednesday, June 2, from Adams Funeral Home with Reverend Russel Fate, United Church of Christ, Congregational, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
