Lloyd Russell Christiansen
January 25, 1934 - December 5, 2012

Lloyd Russell Christiansen 78, died on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 in Nevada Iowa.

Lloyd was born on January 25, 1934 in Denison Township, Crawford County, to George Sibbert Christiansen and Minnie Johanna (Dethlefsen) Christiansen. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and experiencing the beauty of nature. He was self employed in the occupation of Farming and Ranching until his retirement in 2005. Lloyd was a resident of Dunlap Iowa for most of his life, and most recently resided at Story County Senior Care in Nevada, IA

Left to honor Lloyd's memory are two sons, Steven (Christine) Christiansen of Dunlap Ia. and Carey Christiansen, two daughters, Barbara Grau of Ames, Ia. and Neva (Tom) Summerfield of Dunlap Ia., two Sisters, Helen (known as Chris) Tornow of Carroll, Ia. and Norma Nelson, of Boone, Ia. nine grandchildren, and several great-
grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, LeRoy, Charles, and Clifford and five sisters, Maxine Eck, Delores Vandeweerd, Darlene Kolln, Judy Dieber and LaDonna Christiansen.

A memorial fund has been established in loving memory of Lloyd and may be directed to Chet Ryan Mortuary.

Burial will be at the Oakland Cemetery in Denison Ia. at a later date.

Chet Ryan Mortuary has been entrusted with the care of Lloyd and his family.
