From Nevada Representative August 23, 1882

Death of Elder T. M. Williams

Rev. T. M. Williams, for four years the Methodist minister in charge of the Nevada stations, died on the 11 instant of apoplexy and heart disease at Bridgewater Dakota Territory.

He was one of the best liked and most popular ministers ever stationed at Nevada. After leaving here he was for four years Presiding Elder of the Ft. Dodge District, then stationed at Storm Lake, next Presiding Elder for four years of Sioux City District, and at the time of his death Superintendent of the Dakota Missions. His home was at Elk Point, but at the time of his death was absent on the duties connected with his work, and died very suddenly at Bridgewater. His funeral services were held at Sioux City on Wednesday last, and his remains were deposited in the Floyd Cemetery of that city, attended by more than could get into the church. The pall bearers were Rev's Burdick, Jones, Gleason, Brown, Winter and Kilburn, while 13 other ministers and former ascociates with him in the ministerial work, were in attendance. A noble man has gone to meet his reward.
