Mr. N. B. Jacobs, a former respected resident of Story City, and a brother to Mrs. Tendeland, died recently at his home in the Red River country in Dakota. Mrs. Mendeland received the sad news this morning through a sister in Chicago.

The notice appeared in this paper a few weeks ago of the death of Nels Jacobs, a former resident of this place, was a mistake. It was one of Mr. Jacob's children who died.
