Died.

At his residence in Nevada township, Wednesday, March 8th 1882 Smith Goodin aged 50 years.

Mr. Goodin was one of the oldest citizens of the county, having come to Nevada from Ohio, about 25 to 26 years ago. For the last few years he had resided on a farm about three miles south of Nevada. His complaint has been mainly general debility, with other troubles of various kinds. He was able to be around up to within a very few days of the death. He leaves a wife and two children, the youngest, a girl about 17 years old, the oldest, a son, married and in Nebraska. He was a companionable and good citizen and will be remembered with sorrow by his large circle of acquaintances.
