Rev. William Tripp, father-in-law of Capt. D. S. Basworth, died in the depot at Ames during Thursday night of last week. His age was 86 years, and he was just starting to St. Charles, Illinois, for a visit to friends and relatives.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Capt. D. S. Basworth" was Drake S. Bosworth, a druggist from Ames, Iowa. His wife was Louisa M. (Tripp) Bosworth (1829-1902).
