BORN: November 26, 1929
DIED: October 11, 2012
LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Eva Mae (Kaltenheuser) Tett passed away October 11, 2012. She is now reunited with her parents, George and Edith; three brothers, Fred, Ed and Frank; sister, Evelyn; nephew, Creighton; and half-sister, LaVone.

She married Everett C. Tett September 3, 1949 at Nevada, Iowa.

Eva Mae was born at Maxwell, the second daughter of George and Edith (Boitnott) Kaltenheuser. She was baptized at First United Methodist Church in Ames where she was a member for 55 years. Eva graduated from Roland High School in 1947. After graduating, she began her career as a bookkeeper and later worked for Homewood 18 years, retiring in 1997.

Cherishing her memory is her husband Everett; her sister Jean (Robert) Klein of Greenville, North Carolina; her sisters-in-law Doris Kaltenheuser of Phoenix, Arizona and Joy Kaltenheuser of Torrington, Wyoming; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her constant companion, Casey.

Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church in Ames, Israel Family Hospice House, or the Ames Animal Shelter.
