Betty Lou Myers
April 17, 1930 - April 12, 2011

Betty Lou Myers, 80 of Nevada, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Story County Senior Care. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19 at the First Christian Church, 250 West E Avenue in Nevada.

Betty was born on April 17, 1930 in Nevada to Rolland M. and Ella (Corbin) Wilkinson. On December 31, 1946 she married Earnie Lafayette Myers in Nevada. Betty was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Ames.

Betty is survived by 2 sons, Michael Myers and Steven Myers of Las Vegas, NV; 2 daughters, Susan Darrington of Neola, IA and Barbara Burnett of Nevada; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earnie Myers on March 19, 2007, 2 brothers Max and Howard Wilkinson.

A memorial fund has been established in Betty's name.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Betty and her family.
