Carol Jean Wheeler

BORN: October 29, 1948
DIED: February 15, 2011
LOCATION: Story City, Iowa

Carol Jean Wheeler was born October 29, 1948 to Paul Vernon and Katie S. (Cunningham) Lancaster in Redfield, Iowa. Carol married Thomas Wheeler on June 20, 1966 and they had lived in Story City since 1976. She worked as a sales associate at the VF Factory Outlet Mall in Story City for 20 years. Carol enjoyed reading, especially Harry Potter books, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol Jean Wheeler, 62, of Story City, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2001 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Carol is survived by her husband Thomas Wheeler of Story City; her son James (Gina) Wheeler of Randall; her daughter Kelly (Mike) Moore of Ames; her sister Janet Keesey of Denver, Colorado; and her two grandchildren, Kara Moore and Alison Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
