Judy Kay Cooper
November 29, 1947 - February 23, 2011
Huxley, IowaJudy Kay Cooper 63, of Huxley, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, February 28th at Palestine Lutheran Church in Huxley. Funeral services will be 11a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Palestine Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Judy was born on November 29, 1947 in Webster City to Junice and Mary Bernice (Skinner) Tribby. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1966. On June 10, 1972 she married David Cooper. Judy was a travel consultant in Ames for many years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Judy enjoyed traveling, volunteering, and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, Dave of Huxley; children, Andrea (Cameron) Williams of Rancho Cordova, CA, Heather (Jordan) Holcomb of Driggs, ID and Scott (Beth) Cooper of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Johnee, Gabriel, Landon and Paige; and sisters, Betty Vieman, Bonnie Haines, Dorothy (Charles) Palmateer and Carolyn (Gus) Workman. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Earl Tribby.
Memorials may be donated to the Bliss Cancer Center or Israel Family Hospice House.
