Nevada, Iowa

Glenn Dennis, 64, of Nevada, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Story County Senior Care in Nevada.

Glenn was born November 15, 1947, to Francis and Katherine Dennis in Indiana. He worked as a cook at the Cyclone Truck Stop in Ames and enjoyed his birds, gambling and watching Sylvester Stallone movies.

Glenn is survived by his fiancé, Gail Foley of Nevada; his sister-in-law, Marlene Cone; his close family, Eric Franz, Patricia Brewer-Franksain, Maxine Brewer-Martin, Francis Brewer, Nicole Frye and William "Cody" Hagar; his grandchildren, Phoenix Johnston, Jaxon Watson-Brewer and Zora-May Jada Vang; and his best friends, Chuck,Lee, Ray and Jeff. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.

A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Glenn.
