Allen Forrest Deaton

BORN: November 4, 1962

DIED: February 6, 2012

LOCATION: Branson, Missouri

Allen Forrest Deaton, 49, of Branson, Missouri, formerly of Ames, died February 6, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Memorial Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 at Adams Funeral Home. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

Allen was born November 4, 1962 in Forest Lake, Minnesota to Lowell E. and Shirley (Risvold) Deaton. Allen enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, fixing cars, family vacations and he was a member of the BMW Motorcycle Club and the Christian Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by his father, Lowell (Alice) Deaton; mother, Shirley Thede; sisters, Diane (Bob) Price, Lori (Keith) Lacy, Rayleen (Bill) Davis; brothers, Larry Thede, Kyle (Lois) Deaton and Lowell (Sheri) Deaton, Jr.; several other brothers and sisters; nieces, Lisa (Brandon) Oxley, Sara Brekke (Dave Anderson); nephews, Scott Gibson and Anthony Lacy; and several other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Trish Ketzler. He will be deeply missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Forrest and Alice Deaton and Olaf and Stella Risvold.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Refreshments will be served immediately following the service at:
