Barbara Tiffany

BORN: September 10, 1928

DIED: April 12, 2012

LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Barbara Jean "Barb" Tiffany was born Sept. 10, 1928 in Boone County to John and Irene (Cooper) Ferguson.
She married Donald W. Smith November 27, 1946 in Ames. They were the parents of John, Steve, and Donna. Don passed away January 11, 1976. She later married John C. Tiffany of Collins where they lived for 22 years. John passed away July 5, 1998. She then resided in Ames.
She was last employed by the ISU Printing department. Barb was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #81 in Collins, and a member of St. Mary's in Colo, and St. Cecilia in Ames.

Her survivors include her son, Steven (Johnny) Rogers-Smith of Ames; daughter, Donna (Kelly) Thornton of Kentucky, eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; stepson, Ron (Kathy) Tiffany of Nevada; stepdaughters Linda Tiffany (Bill Hunt) of Colorado, Dee Tiffany (James Cochran) of Missouri, and Cindy (Dave) Henry of Arizona; sisters, Clita of Nevada, and Maxine of Fairfield; and brother Paul of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; son, John; grandson, Jason; and sisters, Charlotte, Louise, and Lucille.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reiman Gardens.
