Mrs. A. K. Banks Died in Des Moines
Mrs. Hattie Banks, 62 wife of A. K. Banks, Civil War Veteran and former Story county pioneer, died at Mercy hospital, Des Moines Thursday, according to word received by relatives of Mr. Banks in Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Banks had lived in Des Moines for possibly thirty years. Mrs Banks had not been well for some time but her more critical illness was of short duration.

The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the Harbach funeral home in Des Moines and local relatives will attend.

Mrs. Banks, before her marriage was Miss Hattie Dame, a former Nevada girl.
