Mr. R. M. Harper, one of the old and respected citizens of this community died on the 14th inst., quite suddenly, aged about 60 years. Mr. Harper and family have lived on a farm about a mile east of town, for 17 years, and are highly respected by all who have the pleasure of their acquaintance. He was truly an upright man, honorable in all his dealings and conscientiously aiming to do right.
