By a late dispatch, we learn that Benjamin Hawley, of Kansas, died last week. Mr. H. was formerly a resident of this township, and is a brother-in-law of W. K. Wood.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Benjamin Holly married Mary A. "May" Wood, a sister of William Kenison Wood, on December 2, 1860 in Story County, Iowa. I have found the family in an 1875 Kansas census in Louisburg, Montgomery County, Kansas.
