DIED.--Charlie, son of George and Addie Hardenbrook, on Sunday at 11 P. M. Funeral services on Monday at 4 P. M., conducted by Rev. J. A. Jefferson. Interment at Greenwood cemetery.
As the funeral procession passed school house, the bell, which had so recently called Charlie to his studied, tolled mournfully, and the scholars of the Primary department marched out and joined the procession, each scholar carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which they threw into the grave, as a memento of love for their departed school mate.
"Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.
There are
"No tears in Heaven.
No darkened room.
No bed of death
No silence of the tomb."
