Dr. P. Cook of this place, died very suddenly on Friday of last week, after an illness of only about two days. He was the oldest physician in the place, having been in practice something like 20 years. The Doctor was a man of strong mind, and was of the eclectic school of practitioners. He leaves a wife and two children, a boy and girl about 12 and 17 years of age respectively, to mourn his loss.
