From Nevada Representative July 19, 1876

DIED.

In Boone, Monday, July 10th, at 4:15 P. M., Mrs. Lillian A. Potheir, ne Clark, after an illness of four months, aged 21 years.

She will be remembered by her parent as a thoughtful and obedient daughter. By her husband as an affectionate loving wife, and by her companions and schoolmates, with whom she recently mingled, as one ever sweet-tempered, obliging and kind.

Mourn not for her the young Bride of the Vale,
Our gayest and lovliest lost to us now,
Ere life's early lustre had time to grow pale
And the garland of love was yet fresh on her brow.
Oh! then was her moment dear spirit for flying
From this gloomy world, while its gloom was unknown,
And the wild hymn she warbled so sweetly in dying,
Were echoed in heaven by lips like her own!
Weep not for her, in her spring-time she flew
To that land where the wings of the soul are unfurled,
And now like a star beyond evening's cold dew,
Looks radiently down on the tears of the world.
