From Story County Watchman June 17, 1887

Monday morning Frank Ogden recived a dispatch from Minneapolis, Minn., from Harry Waldron that his father had just died, but no particulars. Mr. Waldron was a resident of this place for many years and was a fine business man, reliable and trusty. His many friends here were shocked at the sudden news as none had heard he was sick, much less dangerously so.
