Nels Ersland died at his home south-east of Slater last Sunday after a brief illness. Mr. Ersland begin to complain of one of his lower limbs given him pain some time ago. The best medical attendance was given to him and it was finally decided to amputate the limb which was done last week. He was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ersland of Slater, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of sorrow. The funeral took place Monday.
