Death of Jens Olson.

Jens Olson was born at Christianstro, Sweden, July 26, 1829, and died at his home in this city Friday, January 26, aged seventy six years. He was married in Sweden and to them were born three children, one child died in infancy and deceased is survived by two children, John Olson and Mary Carlson of Horton Kansas. Mr. Olson came to America when about forty years of age and settled in Nevada. In May 1882 he was married to Miss Anna Ingermunds who departed from this life in 1899. To this union were born four children, Edward and Ole Olson, of Horton, Kansas, Lena and Andrew Olson, of this city, who were present at the funeral. He had suffered from rheumatism for several years past and for past few weeks has been rapidly failing. The funeral services were conducted from Friends church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 by the pastor, Dr. Bunce, and the remains were laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery. A large number of friends and relatives were present to witness the last sad rites of one who was near and dear to them.
