Operation Was Fatal.
Milton Deal, a well known farmer who lived near St. Anthony nearly all his life, died in the State University hospital at Iowa City Monday afternoon, after undergoing an operation for a rupture, from which he had been a sufferer for about two years. He leaves a wife and six children and his father, Leonard Deal, is still living. A sister, Mrs. W. Irvine, resides in this city. Deceased was born in Mercer county, Ohio, in 1855. The remains were brought to his old home Tuesday evening, and taken from there the following day to Zearing, where the funeral and interment occurred.--Marshalltown Reflector.
