From Story County Watchman August 25, 1905

Hans Amlund died at his home in this city Friday morning August 18. His death was due to tuberculosis. Mr. Amlund was born in Norway, Nov. 12, 1851, and came to this country direct to Story City in 1868. He was married in this city to Katherine Beroen in 1872. To this union eight children were born, three boys and five girls.--Story City Herald.
