Rev. Jacob Rank died last week at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. W. Kohl, west of Colo, at the age of 89 years. The remains were taken to Blairstown for interment, under ministration of Presiding Elder, Utt of that district.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. D. W. Kohl" was Jennie (Rank) Kohl, wife of Daniel W. Kohl. Rev. Jacob Rank is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Benton County, Iowa beside his wife, Sarah (Matters) Kohl (1818-1902).
