Jens Larson was born in Leland, Denmark, June 29, 1847 and died at his home in Story City, April 10, 1905. He was merried to Marie Larson Sept. 26, 1870 and came to this country in the year 1882, locating at McCallsburg where for twelve years the family made their home. In 1894 they came to Story City.
