Weary of lifes burden made as light as possible by the family companions Mrs. Sahrah Lingenfelter laid it down on this side of the shining river and crossed to the other shore, where there is no pain last Thursday morning shortly after 8 o'clock. Sarah E. Gilman was born in York county, Pa., Aug. 11, 1834, and was married to G. W. Lingenfelter Sep. 2, 1855.

Mrs. Geo. Lingenfelter died shortly after 8 o'clock this morning. She has suffered intensely for many months with cancer. Her life was one of much activity and usefulness. All our people deeply regret that her last days were attended with great pain. She was a devout christian, and a member of the M. E. church.
