The funeral of Jay Fenton, who was killed in Wisconsin woods by the falling of a tree came off at the residence of his grandfather, A. Fenton, on Saturday last.

On Wednesday of last week Jay Fenton was killed while working in the pineries of Northern Wisconsin by a tree falling upon him crushing the spark of life from his body. The remains reaching this place Saturday after which they were interred in the cemetery at this point. His age was 20 years, he was well known to the majority of our young people all of whom are loth to believe that his young life has thus been snapped of in its present useful stage.
