DIED.--At the residence of his sister, Mrs. F. W. Gregory, at Iowa Falls, on Monday last after an illness of considerable duration, U. G. Long. Mr. Long has been virtually an invalid for years and formerly kept a drug store at Zearing and the present time was one of the firm of Mr. Gregory in his store in this city. His age was 27 years. He was somewhat acauainted with many of our people who held him in high esteem and regret to learn of his departure for that bourne from which none return.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. F. W. Gregory" was Bertha (Long) Gregory, wife of Frank W. Gregory of Hardin County, Iowa. She and Ulvia George Long were the children of George Long and Laura Kendall. Ulvia Geo. Long married Cleo G. Cummings on 3 February 1903 in Hardin County, Iowa.
