DIED--On Sunday morning Mrs. A. L. Wood died at her home in this city. She had been sick for several months but not seriously until a few days since. The funeral was held on Tuesday by Rev. Nye ant the remains carefully interred in the cemetery. Miss Mary Belle McConnell was born in Oxford, Ind., May 30, 1873, and came to Nevada in 1900, and, married Mr. Wood Dec. 2, 1900 which time she has resided here.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to marriage records, May McConnell and Elbert L. Wood were married 27 November 1901 in Nevada, Story County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Hugh McConnell and Margaret Johnston and he was the son of Jackson Wood and Rebecca Conner.
