Lars R. Larson was born in Tungesvik, Norway, Feb. 6, 1836, died at his home in Story City, Nov. 4, 1904. He came to this country, direct to Illinois in 1845 and in 1856 moved to Story City where he has lived ever since. He was married to Randa Larson December, 14 in 1856. Twelve children were born to this union, nine, six sons and three daughters have gone before him. An aged and devoted wife and three sons, Edward, Ephraim and Benjamin are left to mourn the loss of a beloved father and husband.
