A week ago Sunday Mrs. Patterson gave birth to a fine boy and she was doing well Tuesday evening when she began failing and a 11 o'clock that night without a moments warning she passed away. Oakle Patterson was the oldest daughter of Mrs. Alice Patterson and was born on the home farm north of town on May 23, 1885. She was married to Mr. Dennis Halterman October 7, 1902. She leaves a husband, infant son, mother, brothers, sister and other relatives to mourn for her. The funeral services were held at the Christian church this afternoon at 2 o'clock being conducted by Rev. George Roberts, of Maxwell, assisted by Rev. C. E. Burton of Collins.
