Mrs. Abe McCord's father passed away about 12 o'clock last Saturday at her home. The funeral was held at the Dalton church Monday at ten o'clock. The remains were taken to Zearing for burial.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Abe McCord" was Sarah Elizabeth (Bowman) McCord, wife of Abram Smith McCord. According to his death record, William A. Bowman was born in Pennsylvania and died 9 January 1904 in Collins Township, Story County, Iowa.
