From Story County Watchman December 12, 1902

Tuesday Henry Nelson was killed while working on the Iowa Falls & Des Moines railway near Cambridge while removing a chunk of dirt which had become clogged in some way by being caught between the shovel and car. The body was taken to Cambridge at once and from there to this city for interment.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to death records, Henry Nelson was born in Liscomb, Iowa ca. 1874 and died 9 December 1902 in Nevada Township, Story County, Iowa.
