AMES.

Dr. and Mrs. Fairchild Jr. of Clinton, are grieving over th loss of their little four year old daughter Marian. This is the second child that has been taken from them by death, and now they are childless. Dr. Fairchild Jr. was one of Ames boys, born and reared until early manhood in the city. His friends in Ames mourn with himself and wife over the sacrifice they have had to make.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Marian Fairchild's parents were Dr. David S. Fairchild, Jr. and Ellen V. (Brown) Fairchild. They married in Oskaloosa, Iowa in 1897.
