Slater News: ....As we go to press, we learn of the death of Knute Michelson an aged citizen living north east of town....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to WPA Records, Knudt Mickelson was born 5 February 1829 and died 4 December 1902. He was buried in the Bethany Cemetery, Story County, Iowa. Death records show he died in Palestine Twp., Story County, Iowa.
