C. C. Johnson died at the home of his father, W. S. Johnson, at Summit, LaFayette township, Monday morning after a lingering illness. The last rites were held at that point under the direction of Rev. Henderson of this city. He was a young man of promise and is cut off in the prime and just at a time when he should be at his best.
