Mrs. Mason of Sherman township, Saturday died at the home of her son at quite an advanced age. She has lived there for many years and will be missed by many friends in the section of country contiguous to the point. She leaves several children to mourn her loss as the age to which she had reached is vouchsated to but few of this or any other generation.

On the 21st ult., at her home in Sherman township, Mrs. Catherine Mason died at the great age of 90 years. The last rites under the guidance of Rev. Caldwell and the remains were laid to rest at Johnson Grove to await the call for the brighter and better land. She has been one of the most respected residents of Sherman for nearly 30 years and all are sorry to know that the end to which we are all tending has reached at last. She leaves a daughter and two sons to look forward to a meeting in the land where partings shall be no more.
