Story City July 22.-A peculiar accident occured just west of town Satuday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Miss Laura, the 20-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bickelhaupt, was raking hay in the meadow when the horses became frightened and started to run away. Miss Laura pulled with all her strength on one line and the horses ran round and round in a small circle. They were soon stopped by the men who were working near, and as Miss Laura did not move she was lifted from the seat. She was apparently dead and medical aid was summoned but the doctor said she had died immediately and the cause of death was heart failure, influenced by fright. She was not injured in any way and remained sitting on the rake seat until lifted down.
