On Sunday afternoon Mrs. Edward Croaker died quite suddenly from the effects of the heat at the age of 96 years years. The funeral services were held at the Catholic church here and the remains were carefully laid away in the Catholic cemetery south of town Tuesday.

She was a kind and devoted mother and leaves five children, grand children, and great grand children to mourn her loss, 112 in number.
